“All tasks of Moon-2015 experiment have been fulfilled”, – crew commander Elena Luchitskaya said on Friday.

Moon-2015 project started on October 28, six women working for the Institute of Biomedical problems voluntarily took part in this experiment. The main tasks were to study how female organism will adapt to conditions of simulated Moon flight onboard pressurized spacecraft and to receive data on cosmonauts’ health using equipment similar to that onboard the ISS. On Friday participants left the training module.

“All the tasks have been fulfilled”, – reported crew commander short after they have left the module.

The women are filled with positive emotions and no one regrets taking part in the experiment.

It was reported earlier that the Institute plans to conduct series of seven similar experiments. In contrast to the very first one Moon-2015 where only women took part other experiments stipulate participation of people of various sex, age, occupation and nationality. On the whole there are three large scale experiments lasting for four, eight of twelve month and several short technical studies lasting or about 12-14 days to be conducted.
