New ISS mission back-up crew commander Russian cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin says he feels very responsible since his crew will be the first one to go to space onboard new Soyuz MS.

“Naturally that I feel responsible for the very first flight onboard new modification of Soyuz. But our crew had a plenty of trainings and I am absolutely confident about it”, – he told the journalists.

The first spacecraft of Soyuz MS series is a modernized version of Soyuz TMA-M being used to bring the cosmonauts to the ISS at the present time.

According to preliminary data the launch Anatoly Ivanishin’s crew including also Takuya Onishi (JAXA) and NASA woman-astronaut Kathleen Rubins is planned for June 21, 2016.
