The launch of Soyuz MS-02 spacecraft initially scheduled for September 23 and postponed due to technical reasons was preliminarily scheduled for October 19, – the spokesman reported.
“Preliminary date of the future launch will be October 19, the docking according to the traditional scheme will take place in two days. Final date will be announced by Roscosmos state commission”, – the spokesman stated.
He also noted that both prime and back-up crews were informed about their flight to Baikonur planned for October 7, while spacecraft fit-check is scheduled for October 8.
It was reported earlier that both crews have returned from Baikonur to Moscow to wait for the new launch date to be announced by State Commission.
Soyuz MS-02 launch was shifted due to the short circuit in the process of encapsulation.
