The “Soyuz MS-11” spacecraft successfully docked to the docking unit of the “Poisk” small research module of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS).

The docking was made on December 3 at 20:33 Moscow time.

A four-turn scheme for bringing the ship closer to the station was provided by the flight program.

The approuching was carried out automatically under the supervision of specialists from the Main Operations Group of the Russian Segment of the ISS in the Mission Control Center and Russian crew members of the spaceship and station.

The “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle with “Soyuz MS-11” spacecraft was launched on December 3, 2018 at 14:31 (Moscow time).

The spacecraft delivered to the ISS the participants of the long expedition ISS-58/59: the Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko (Roscosmos), the American astronaut Anne McClain (NASA) and the Canadian astronaut David St. Jacques (CSA).

Currently, the crews of the spacecraft and the ISS are carrying out operations to prepare for the opening of access hatches and the transfer of the ship’s crew to the station.
