Specialists of Roscosmos enterprises at the Baikonur cosmodrome started operations to fuel the “Spectrum-RG” spacecraft with fuel components, and this operations will last for several days.

Then the spacecraft will be transported to the Assembly and Testing building for preparation for assembly as a part of the space head of the “Proton-M” launch vehicle.

The launch is scheduled for June 21, 2019.

“Spectrum-RG” is a project, aimed for creating an orbital astrophysical observatory, designed to study the Universe in the X-ray wavelength range.

The device will be delivered to the area of the Lagrange point L2 of the Sun-Earth system.
