At the Vostochny cosmodrome, specialists of Roscosmos enterprises – “TSENKI” and RSC “Progress” (members of Roscosmos State Corporation), in accordance with the preparation schedule, completed the mechanical assembly of the “package” (first and second stages) of the launch vehicle “Soyuz-2.1b.”

The next stage of work is the performing of pneumatic tests of propulsion systems, electrical tests and the final operation – the general assembly of a space rocket.

In accordance with the schedule at the filling and neutralization station, the “Fregat” upper stage is being refueled with fuel components and compressed gases.

In the Assembly and Testing building of spacecrafts, specialists are preparing the spacecraft “Meteor-M” № 2-2.

The launch is scheduled for the beginning of July 2019, the “Soyuz-2.1b” rocket will launch the “Meteor-M” № 2-2 spacecraft into orbit.

This will be the fifth launch from the newest Russian cosmodrome.
