At the “Vostochny” cosmodrome, the planned preparation for the upcoming launch continues.

At the refueling station, the specialists of the “Vostochny” Space Center (“TSENKI” company branch) completed filling the upper stage “Fregat” with fuel components.

After that, it was transported to the Assembly and Testing building and installed in the assembly jig of the space head part.

Joint operations on assembling the head part, which are scheduled for June 27, include the assembly of spacecraft with an upper stage, electrical checks and installation of the head fairing.

The next day, the head part will be transported to the Assembly and Testing building of the launch vehicle.

In parallel, the specialists of “TSENKI” and the RSC “Progress” (members of the State Corporation “Roscosmos”) are performing final operations on the “Soyuz-2.1b” launch vehicle.

Its general assembly is scheduled for July 1.

The launch of the “Soyuz-2.1b” launch vehicle with the “Fregat” upper stage and the Russian “Meteor-M” № 2-2 meteorological satellite and the associated payload is scheduled for July 5, 2019.
