Preparations for the launch of the “Progress MS-12” cargo spaceship are continuing at the Baikonur cosmodrome.

On July 1, 2019, RSC “Energia” and Yuzhny Space Center (parts of the Roscosmos State Corporation) successfully completed a test of the ship’s systems and compartments for leak tightness in a vacuum chamber using helium-air mixture.

Testing for tightness in a vacuum chamber using a helium-air mixture in the tested volumes today remains the most objective method of control in ground conditions.

The launch of the “Progress MS-12” cargo spaceship is scheduled for July 31, 2019 from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
