On July 29, 2019, the “Progress MS-11” cargo spaceship undocked from the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS).

The on-board computer gave the command for undocking at 13:43 (Moscow time), and at 13:44 the physical separation of the ship and the ISS took place.

After undocking, the spacecraft continued its orbital flight in autonomuos mode.

At 16:50 (Moscow time), the engine system was switched on for braking, and the spacecraft proceeded to descend from the working orbit.

At 17:23, the ship entered the dense layers of the atmosphere, and at 17:32, the fireproof fragments of its construction sank in a given area of the non-navigable Pacific Ocean waters.

The “Progress MS-11” spacecraft with cargo for the crew of the International Space Station was put into orbit on April 4, 2019 and docked to the ISS on the same day.

The ship set a record for the duration of the flight from launch to docking with the ISS: 3 hours and 21 minutes.

Currently, the next cargo ship, “Progress MS-12”, is scheduled for launch at the Baikonur Cosmodrome on July 31 at 15:10 (Moscow time).

It will deliver to the station 1.2 tons of dry cargo, more than a ton of fuel in the tanks of the refueling system, 420 kg of water in the tanks, as well as 50 kg of compressed gas in cylinders.
