On August 22, 2019 at 06:38:32 (Moscow time) the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft was successfully launched from the launch pad of the site № 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

After the separation of the ship from the third stage of the carrier, the specialists in the Mission Control Center began to control its flight.

The “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle launched the ship into orbit with the following parameters:

the minimum height above the Earth’s surface is 200 km;
the maximum height above the Earth’s surface is 243 km;
circulation period – 88.64 min .;
inclination of the orbit – 51.67 degrees.

The approchement of the “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft with the station and the docking with the “Poisk” research module is planned to be carried out automatically under the control of specialists of the MCC and cosmonauts of Roscosmos Alexey Ovchinin and Alexander Skvortsov.

The flight program provides for a two-day scheme for the approach of a transport ship with the International Space Station.

Its docking is scheduled for August 24, 2019 at 08:30 (Moscow time).

The spacecraft will deliver equipment for scientific experiments, medicines, containers with food, packages for the crew, as well as the anthropomorphic robot “Skybot F-850” to the ISS.

Russian cosmonauts have to test robot systems in space flight conditions.

The main purpose of the robot is its use in operations, that are especially dangerous for humans on board of a spacecraft, as well as in open space.
