The Roscosmos State Corporation considers the launch of the production of universal rocket modules of “Angara” launch vehicles at the Production Association “Polet” (a branch of the Khrunichev Space Center) as priority task of the corporation.

Tight control is being carried out over the production of the first “Angara” rockets this year, as well as their transfer to the customer – the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Prior to the finish of the reconstruction of the “Polet”company, the Khrunichev Sapce Center plans to produce annually two heavy-class launch vehicles – “Angara-A5” and one light-weight class – “Angara-1.2”.

Due to this during the transition period, some of the payloads will be launch using the “Proton-M” rocket, and some – on new “Angara” rockets.

The volume of production of “Angara” rockets after reaching the capacity will be: eight heavy class and two light class per year.
