Russian cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov who celebrated his 60th Birthday onboard the ISS is ready to go to space again.

“I like flying to space and if I can I’ll be happy to fly again”, – he said at the post-flight press-conference taking place in GCTC.
The crew headed by Pavel Vinogradov returned from the ISS on September 11. Answering the question about his political career considering the fact  of his taking part in the elections for the State Duma and Moscow City Duma he told: “No, I am not going to work in this direction. I have a great experience as I have been dealing with this kind of work for about 12-14 years. This doesn’t attract me much, but I wouldn’t say that I don’t like it, for I gladly communicate with people and solve their problems”.

Most likely Vinogradov will go on working for RSC Energia, constructing cargo and manned space vehicles and developing new manned spacecraft at the present time.”I will deal with engineering, I like it most”, – he explained.

He also told how he celebrated his 60th birthday on the orbit. ISS crew members were the first to congratulate him, then telecommunication session with Rocket Space industry authorities, family members and friends took place as well as with MAKS-2013 Airshow visitors. In the evening all six crew members gathered at the festive the table.

“I am a little bit sad about the birthday as it means that one more year has passed”, – the cosmonaut said.
