At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, specialists at the Yuzhny Space Center and the RSC “Energia” (parts of Roscosmos State Corporation) completed operations on refueling the “Soyuz MS-16” manned spacecraft with fuel components and compressed gases.

After refueling, it was delivered to the Assembly and Testing building of site № 254 and installed in a dynamic stand for further pre-launch work.

According to the prelaunch preparation schedule, on March 30, 2020, the spacecraft will be assembled with the transfer compartment of the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle.

The launch from the site № 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome is scheduled for April 9, 2020.

The main crew – commander Anatoly Ivanishin, flight engineer-1 Ivan Wagner and flight engineer-2 Christopher Cassidy.

Their backups are Sergey Ryzhikov, Andrey Babkin and Stephen Bowen.
