On Thursday ISS orbit was successfully adjusted with the help of Progress MS-14 cargo vehicle thrusters to ensure necessary conditions for the arrival of future crew in spring 2021.

The thrusters of Progress MS-14 vehicle docked to Zvezda service module were ignited  at 22.50, Moscow time, and have been operating for 363,5 seconds; as a result the medium altitude of the station was increased by 1,2 km and amounted to 419,4 km above the Earth surface.

On Tuesday Kathleen Rubins installed wireless sensors in the intersection compartment of Zvezda module where the crack that caused air leak aboard the ISS was discovered. These sensors enable to monitor the load pressure affecting the module during adjustment maneuver. Sergey Ryzhikov is to take a picture of the crack after the maneuver is completed to check how the operation affected it.

The previous adjustment maneuver was accomplished on October 07 and decreased the altitude by 1,3 km.
