Another ISS reboost maneuver is scheduled for the Thursday, as a result of it the station orbit is to be raised by 900 meters, – Mission Control Centre representative reported.

According to him the station will be reboosted with the help of thrusters of European cargo vehicle ATV-4 “Albert Einstein” docked with the ISS. It will be the last time ISS orbit will be adjusted with the help of ATV-4 since on October 28 at 12.33 Moscow time the vehicle will be undocked form the ISS. Rene Pischel the head of ESA representation office in Russia reported earlier that the space vehicle will be deorbited and sank in the Pacific Ocean on November 2 or 3.

The thrusters will be run at 14.18 Moscow time and operate for 256,6 seconds (a little more than 4 minutes). The station will get the velocity increment of 0,62 m/s nd as a result of the maneuver the medium altitude of the station will be increased by 900 meters, – MCS representative stated.

He specified that the main objective of the maneuver is to form working orbit for Soyuz TMA-11M docking with the ISS. New ISS crew  consists of Mickail Tyurin ( Roscosmos),  Richard Mastracchio (NASA)  and Koichi Wakata (JAXA). The crew will deliver to the ISS Olympic torch that will be carried into the open space by Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryazansky and Oleg Kotov.

Soyuz will be launched from the first launchpad (Gagarin launch) of Baikonur spaceport at 8.08 Moscow time, November 7. The docking will take place six hours after the launch.
