Prelaunch processing of the Soyuz MS-18 crewed spacecraft under the program of Expeditions 65 and 66 to the International Space Station continues at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Today specialists from RSC Energia and enterprises of Roscosmos started filling operations.

Yesterday evening, in accordance with the technical management’s decision, the spacecraft was delivered to the filling station of Site No. 31 to have its propulsion system loaded with compressed gases and propellant components. According to the processing schedule, the filling operations are to be completed on March 29, when the spacecraft returns to the processing facility of Site No. 254 to undergo the final prelaunch processing.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying the Soyuz MS-18 to the International Space Station is scheduled for April 9, 2021 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
