Today, on March 26, 2020, at the site № 17 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome in front of the Cosmonaut Hotel, a ceremony was held to raise the flags of the countries, participating in the launch of the "Soyuz MS-16" manned spacecraft.

At the Baikonur cosmodrome, the final stage of preparation of the main and backup crews of the "Soyuz MS-16" manned spacecraft for flight under the program of the 63rd main expedition to the International Space Station has begun.

On the morning of March 24, 2020, the ceremony of seeing off the main and backup crews of the 63rd long expedition to the International Space Station, departing to the Baikonur Cosmodrome, took place at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. The members of the main crew are Anatoly Ivanishin, Ivan Wagner, Christopher Cassidy, their backups: Sergey Ryzhikov, Andrey Babkin and Stephen Bowen. A few hours later they arrived at Baikonur to complete the prelaunch preparations.

Today at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center was a farewell ceremony of the crew of the ISS-63 to Baikonur.

The "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle with the "Fregat" upper stage and 34 satellites of the OneWeb communications system was successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on March 21, 2020 at 20:06 (Moscow time).

This morning, on March 18, 2020, the "Soyuz-2.1b" booster rocket with the Fregat upper stage and a new batch of OneWeb communications satellites were rolled out from the Assembly and Testing building and installed at the launch pad of platform № 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

On Monday, March 16, 2020 the "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle with the Glonass-M navigation spacecraft was launched from the launch pad №4 of the Plesetsk cosmodrome by the team of the Aerospace Forces of Russia.

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, a joint team of specialists from the RSC "Energia" and The Yuzhny Space Center (parts of Roscosmos State Corporation) completed the leak test of the "Soyuz MS-16" manned spacecraft in the vacuum chamber at the Assembly and Testing building of site № 254.

At the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center on March 12, 2020, completed the complex examination of the main and backup crews of the ISS-63.
