On October 7, 2014, Reid Wiseman (NASA) and Alexander Gerst (ESA) successfully performed the spacewalk. They finished their EVA activities and returned to the ISS at 18:43 UTC (22:43, Moscow time).

The spacewalk lasted for about 6 hours 13 minutes.

The astronauts moved the old pump delivering liquid ammonia to orbital complex cooling system  to the store. The pump broke down last December and was replaced with the new one. Probably the faulty pump will be fixed and used again.

Besides the astronauts also conducted a series of  electrotechnical works  particularly  repairing light of the camera installed on the outer surface of orbital complex
