Members of the ISS-63 main crew – Roscosmos cosmonauts Nikolay Tikhonov and Andrey Babkin performed a training on the “Exit-2” simulator, using a new cyclogram.

Preliminarily, the specialists of the GCTC conducted an experimental testing of the training methodology for individual typical and target spacewalk operations and tested the technical means of cosmonaut training.

Nikolay Tikhonov and Andrey Babkin have big experience in training on open space activities, starting from the period of general space training and working in groups.

Nevertheless, a practical lesson is held before each training session, where the cosmonauts not only work out activities without “Orlan-ISS” spacesuits, but also prepare tools for themselves for training.

Already at the end of next week the cosmonauts will have to pass the test training on the “Exit-2” simulator for the open space activity.
