This month the crews of ISS-41/42, ISS-42/43 and ISS-44/45 missions going to fly to the ISS in 2014 and 2015 have been having their preparation trainings in ESA and NASA.

Russian members of ISS-43/44 and ISS -44/45 crews  Gennady Padalka and Oleg Kononenko passed training session on European ATV cargo vehicle system in Cologne (Germany).  In the course of the session the cosmonauts had complex training on docking, orbital maintenance and undocking of ATV cargo vehicle.

After that Gennady Padalka and Oleg Kononenko went on training in GCTC.

Meanwhile ISS-41/42 Russian crew members Alexander Samokutyayev and Elena Serova are having their preparation trainings in NASA Johnson Space Centre. During the session the study American segment of t he ISS and practice standard operations.

Alexander Samokutuayev and Elena Serova will be having their final sessions in Huston from June 27 up to July 18 2014. The launch of ISS-41/42 mission is scheduled for September 2014.
