State Commission confirmed the date of Dnepr booster launch (from Orenburg region) that is to orbit 33 satellites of 17 countries at Friday night, Cosmotras international space company reports.

Despite the exacerbation of relations between Russia and the Ukraine cooperation in the field of mutually beneficial space projects remains stable.  The cooperation on Dnepr program is a good example to prove this fact.

The launch of RS-20 rocket with a group of space devices in the framework of Dnepr program is scheduled for June 20 2014 (01:11:11 local time in Yashy), – was stated in the report.

KazEOSat space device (Kazakhstan) will be the main payload; apart from this device Deimos-2 satellite (Spain), TabletSat-Aurora (Russia), Hodoyoshi-3 and Hodoyoshi-4 (Japan), SaudiSat-4 (Saudi Arabia), etc. will be launched to the space.

Dnepr is a 3-stage liquid fuel booster. Its first and second stages are the nominal stags of RS-20 intercontinental ballistic missile (SS-18 “Satana” according to NATO classification). Dnepr’s launching weight amounts to 210 tons. More than 20 of Dnepr boosters have been launched since 1999; the boosters orbited more than 60 satellites.
