The first after May crash launch of Proton heavy booster is planned for September 28, 2014, Roscosmos head Deputy Alexandr Ivanov reported.

“According to the plan the first launch of Proton is to take place on September 28”, – Ivanov stated.

Proton-M booster with Express-AM4R satellite launched from Baikonur spaceport on  May 16, 2014 burned in dense atmosphere. As a result Russian lost its most powerful telecommunication satellite.
