China is interested in production of Russian rocket engines on its territory, also it shows interest in cooperation in manned space exploration, satellite navigation and remote sounding of the Earth,  the head of Roscosmos Oleg Ostapenko told journalists.

“During our visit to China we discussed with our partners different directions of cooperation – satellite navigation, remote sounding of the Earth, production of electronic components, material science, construction of spacecrafts, manned programs and development of rocket engines. I will report to the government about results of this working trip to China, and after that we’ll discuss in which directions to cooperate with them”, — Ostapenko said.

The head of Roscosmos mentioned that in future it is possible to exchange manned missions to Russian and Chinese orbital stations, as well as organize joint missions to explore the far space.

“In our work we are opened for cooperation, but on the principles of parity”, — Ostapenko noted.
