On July 1, 2015, in accordance with the decision taken by State Commission launching crews rolled-out Soyuz-U booster with Progress M-28M cargo vehicle from integration building to the launching pad #1 (Gagarin launch). The rocket was installed and specialists started working according to the first launch day schedule.
Working plan is as follows: first equipment and all systems of the rocket and ground based complex will be checked and then the booster’s tanks are to be filled with propellant components and pressurized gas.
Progress M-28M will deliver to the station 2381 kg of cargoes that is 100 kg more than the previous cargo vehicles did.
It will provide ISS-44 mission crew with fuel, air, water, scientific equipment, parcels, foodstuffs, etc.
The launch is scheduled for July 3, 07:55:50, Moscow time. Progress will dock with the station on July 05, at 10:13, Moscow time.
