Roscosmos launching crews successfully launched Soyuz TMA-18M spacecraft from #1 launchpad of Baikonur spaceport (Gagarin launch) on September 2, 07.37, Moscow time. It was the 500th launch accomplished from Gagarin launchpad. The spacecraft was launched by Soyuz-FG booster.
In 528 seconds Soyuz TMA-18M manned spacecraft nominally separated from booster’s 3rd stage.
The spacecraft will approach and dock with the ISS according to “long” 2-days scheme. The docking is planned for September 4, 10:42, Moscow time.
Scheduled flight duration of the crew members varies: Sergey Volkov will spend onboard 188 days, while ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen and Kazakh cosmonaut Aidyn Aimbetov – 10 days.
