ISS-46/47 Crews Successfully Passed Exams

On Friday, November 20, GCTC specialists summed up the results of ISS-46/47 main and back-up crews exams.

The main crew comprising Roscosmos cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko, NASA astronaut Timothy Kopra and ESA astronaut Timothy Peake was passing exams on Soyuz spacecraft simulator while the back-up one made up of Roscosmos cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin, JAXA astronaut Takuya Onishi and NASA woman-astronaut Kathleen Rubins   – on ISS Russian segment simulator.

Both crews successfully coped with the tasks set getting highest marks.

On Monday, November 23, interdepartmental commission will study the results of examination and take a decision on further preflight training.
