On July 7, 2018, the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with “Progress-MS-09” transport cargo spacecraft was transported to launch pad № 31 of the Baikonur cosmodrome and installed in the launcher system.

Work has started on the schedule of the first starting day – general tests and analysis of telemetric information are planned.

On July 9, a meeting of the State Commission will be held, which should give permission for refueling the space rocket with fuel components and launching Soyuz-2.1a at the planned time – 00:51( Moscow time) on July 10.

The cargo ship will deliver fuel, compressed gases, water, scientific equipment and components for the life support system to the ISS, as well as containers with food, clothing, medicines and personal hygiene products for the crew.

The broadcast of the launch is planned on the website of Roskosmos online.roscosmos.ru and on the official page of the State Corporation in the social network VKontakte on July 9, from 22:50 (Moscow time).
