In accordance with the pre-launch preparation plan on July 16, 2019 the crews of the upcoming long-term expedition to the ISS performed a second “fitting” – a control inspection of the spacecraft in launch configuration.

After the introductory briefing, the crews climbing into the ship, clarified the arrangement of the packs with the equipment, delivered to the station, and tested the performance of various systems, including the communication system, in test mode.

After checking the ship, the crews went to the Assembly shop of the “Progress” RSC branch to inspect the “Soyuz-FG” launch vehicle, which will take the “Soyuz MS-13” spacecraft into orbit on July 20.

Then, according to the pre-launch tradition, the crews visited the museum of the Baikonur cosmodrome, left their autographs, and then visited the houses, where Yuri Gagarin and Sergey Korolyov lived in Baikonur.

The launch of the “Soyuz MS-13” spacecraft with the crew of the next long expedition to the ISS is scheduled for July 20, 2019 at 19:28 (Moscow Time).

The main crew of the ISS-60/61: cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov, astronauts Luca Parmitano and Andrew Morgan.

Their backups are Sergey Ryzhikov, Thomas Mashburn and Soichi Noguchi.
