The preparation of the “Progress MS-12” cargo ship for launching under the International Space Station program continues.

Today, on July 16, 2019, a technical management meeting was held, at which the “Progress MS-12” spacecraft was confirmed to be filled with fuel components and compressed gases, and a decision was made to allow the ship to be filled.

In accordance with the decision, a combined engine system and a refueling system of a cargo ship are allowed to work at a filling station.

The equipment of the filling station is ready for operation.

The launch of the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Progress MS-12” spacecraft is scheduled for July 31, 2019.

The purpose of the flight is to deliver onboard of the ISS the fuel, water and other cargoes, necessary for the operation of the station in manned mode.
