Pre-launch preparation of the “Progress MS-12” cargo spaceship at the Baikonur cosmodrome is at a final stage.

Today, on July 25, 2019, the head unit with a ship was transported to the Assembly and Testing building of launch vehicles for a general assembly with the “Soyuz-2.1a” rocket.

The launch of the “Progress MS-12” cargo spaceship under the International Space Station program is scheduled for July 31, 2019.

The ship must deliver 1.2 tons of dry cargo to the ISS, more than a ton of fuel in the refueling system tanks, 420 kg of water in tanks, and also 50 kg of compressed gas in cylinders.

In the packing of the cargo compartment – scientific equipment, components for the life support system, as well as containers with food products, clothing, medicines and personal care products for crew members.
