The “Proton-M” heavy-class rocket, launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on August 6, 2019 at 00:56 (Moscow time), successfully put into the calculated orbit the spacecraft in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The launch of the rocket and the puting of the satellite into orbit with the help of the “Breeze-M” upper stage were completed normally.

The device was taken into control of ground-based facilities of the Main Testing Space Center of the Space Forces.

The “Proton-M” launch vehicle and the “Breeze-M” upper stage are designed and produced by the Khrunichev Space Center (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation).

The “Proton-M” rocket is an upgraded version of the “Proton” heavy-class launch vehicle with improved operational and environmental characteristics.

Thanks to the use of the “Breeze-M” upper stage, the rocket is capable for delivering payloads weighing more than 6 tons into the orbit.

The first launch of the “Proton-M” rocket with the “Breeze-M” upper stage was performed on April 7, 2001.
