Specialists of the RSC “Energia” (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) and other leading enterprises in the rocket and space industry performed a set of technological operations for the general assembly of a space rocket.

On August 17, 2019, the head part with the “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft was assembled with the third stage of the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle.

After that, the meetings of the technical management and the State Commission were held, at which a conclusion was issued on the readiness of the rocket ( “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft and the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle) for roll-out and installation at the launch pad.

The roll-out from the Assembly and Testing building and installation at the launch pad of the platform № 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome will take place on Monday, August 19.

The launch of the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft is scheduled for August 22, 2019.

The flight will take place in unmanned mode and will be the first test for the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Soyuz MS” series spacecraft.
