The “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft on August 27, 2019 at 06:08 (Moscow time) successfully docked to the “Zvezda” module of the Russian segment of the International Space Station.

Currently, the crew is preparing to open the hatches between the ship and the station.

The “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft delivered about 670 kg of dry cargo: scientific and medical equipment, components for the life support system, as well as food containers, medicines and personal hygiene products for crew members.

The launch of the “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Soyuz MS-14” spacecraft was performed on August 22, 2019 at 06:38:32 (Moscow time) from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

It passed in an unmanned mode and became a test for a launch vehicle with a control system, developed by the NPO “Automatika” (part of Roscosmos State Corporation).

Previously, the “Soyuz-2.1a” rocket launched into orbit only cargo ships and automatic spacecrafts.
