On August 30, 2019 at 17:00 (Moscow time) from the Plesetsk State Testing Cosmodrome the crew of the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces launched the “Rokot” light carrier rocket with a military spacecraft.

All prelaunch operations and launch of the rocket took place normally.

At the estimated time, the satellite, using the “Breeze-KM” upper stage, was launched into the target orbit and taken under control by ground-based facilities of the Main Test Space Center.

The designer and manufacturer of the launch vehicle and the upper stage is Khrunichev Space Center (part of the State Corporation “Roskosmos”).

The “Rokot” launch vehicle was created as part of a conversion program, based on the “RS-18″rocket, removed from service and is designed to launch spacecraft weighing up to 2 tons into low Earth orbits.

The successful launch was the 30th for the “Rokot” rocket from the beginning of its operation.

Its first launch was made on May 16, 2000 from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
