The postponement of Proton-M booster launch with European Astra-2G space device won’t affect the launch of Proton-M with Yamal-401 telecommunication satellite planned for December 26.

Earlier mass media reported that Yamal-401 launch may be postponed until Briz-M upper stage faults causes are found out.

The next launch of Proton booster is still scheduled for December 26. We do not plan to shift it, – the spokesman stated.

The launch of Proton-M booster with Astra-2G satellite planned for November 28 was indefinitely postponed because of Briz-M upper stage fault detected in the course of the testing.

State Commission took a decision to suspend prelaunch preparations and transport the rocket back to the integration building to eliminate the faults. Today, November 27, the rocket was removed from the launchpad.
