On November 29, 2019, at 13:25 (Moscow time), the “Progress MS-12” cargo spaceship, under the control of the Mission Control Center, undocked from the Russian segment of the International Space Station.

Then, in offline mode, the ship continued orbital flight.

In accordance with the flight program on the same day at 16:39 (Moscow time), the engine system was turned on for braking, and the spacecraft proceeded to decrease from the working orbit.

At 17:11 (Moscow time), the ship entered the dense layers of the atmosphere, and at 17:19 (Moscow time) fireproof fragments of the structure sank in a non-navigable region of the Pacific Ocean.

The “Soyuz-2.1a” launch vehicle with the “Progress MS-12” cargo ship was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on July 31, 2019.

On the same day, “Progress” with cargoes for the crew of the International Space Station docked with the Pirs module.

Its place will soon be taken by the “Progress MS-13” cargo ship, which is currently being prepared for launch on Baikonur.

The launch is scheduled for December 6, 2019 at 12:34 (Moscow time) from launch pad № 31 of the cosmodrome.
