The launch of “Nauka” multifunctional laboratory module to the ISS planned for late 2013 will be shifted to the first half of 2014, – Vladimir Popovkin told the journalists on Wednesday.

“Now electrical tests of the module are under way. There are certain remarks, e.g. on propellant system and line of pipes. Today we may say that the launch will take place in the first half of 2014 instead of late 2013” – said Roscosmos Head.

According to him the module wont’ be launched until the specialists are sure that it is ready and tested as there is a lot of work to be done with it onboard the ISS and the module is filled with scientific equipment.
