The support Russian government gives to negotiations regarding delivery of Russian rocket engines to US will enable to maintain mutually beneficial cooperation, – Roscosmos reports.

“The fact that Russian government approved Roscosmos suggestion to negotiate RD-181M engines produced by Energomash Research and Production Enterprise  (part of Roscosmos) deliveries to American Company Orbital Sciences LLC enables to maintain mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of rocket engine engineering between our countries despite the actual sanctions”, – the source states.

As Roscosmos highlights USA will get “reliable rocket engines of best characteristics possible” for their launch vehicles.

“Energomash Enterprise’ partners can stand assured of the quality and reliability of Russian engines. Roscosmos State Corporation and Energomash Research and Production Enterprise have proved their reputation as a reliable supplier of high-technology products of best quality”, – Roscosmos speaker noted.
