Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicles for autumn launches of Soyuz MS-26 and Progress MS-29 have been delivered to Baikonur.

The railway train with rocket blocks was accepted by specialists of the Yuzhny Space Centre of the Centre for Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure Facilities (part of Roscosmos State Corporation). According to Roscosmos, the train of 28 cars went to the assembly and test building of the 112th site of the cosmodrome from the Tyuratam station. Here, after acceptance, the blocks will be transferred, in technical language, in “storage mode” – until the onset of direct preparation for launches.

Rocket head fairings will be placed on the workplaces in the assembly and test building of the 254th site. Further work will be carried out there. The Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft is being prepared for launch to the International Space Station in September. It was sent to the cosmodrome the previous December.
