Progress M-21M space vehicle carrying cargos for ISS crews successfully separated from Soyuz booster’ third stage, – Mission Control centre representative reported.

“Cargo vehicle successfully separated from the 3rd stage of Soyuz booster”, – the spokesman said.

According to him in the course of this flight to ISS new components of “Kurs” rendezvous and docking system will be used.
New equipment will be tested at night 27-28 November. The operation will start at 00.45 Moscow time and end at 02.47 Moscow time. Progress will approach the ISS without contacting it. The docking is planned for November 30, 02.28 Moscow time, Progress spacecraft will dock with “Zvezda” service module, – MCC representative pointed out.

Progress M-21M will deliver about 2,5 tons of cargo to the ISS including propellant components, water, service equipment, equipment for scientific experiments, containers with foodstuff and parcels for crew members. The total weight of all cargos to be delivered amounts to 2398 kilograms.
