British singer Sarah Brightman who is a potential space tourist may pass one more medical check in Russia late 2014 since her flight to the ISS is scheduled for October 2015, – Roscosmos manned space programs head Aleksey Krasnov reported.

“ We have a lot of time. First her health will be checked in the USA. If everything is ok she’ll have medical examination in Russia late 2014, – Krasnov reported. He also added that Sarah Brightman will give a concert in Moscow in February 2014, “her admirers will be able to see her in February. But our ‘space” meeting is not scheduled so far”, – he specified.

After her World tour Brightman is waited in Russia for additional medical check, Medical Commission for Cosmonauts selection secretary , RAS Institute for biomedical Problems Elena Dobrokvashina reported earlier.

The check already passed by Brightman is valid within a year. Every cosmonaut passes it twice. May be not in full scale but some elements of the check. Besides there is a clinical medical checkup the cosmonauts pass once a quarter just to have screening check, – Dobrokvashina reported. She pointed out the she’ll be glad to greet the singer in the institute.

“Sarah Brightman is a very positive person, very pleasant. And we’ll be very glad to see her again. A small check is necessary before she starts training for the flight to assess her physical condition since good physical fitness is needed for them. I am afraid that due to her serious tour she could have lost her physical conditions” – Dobrokvashina concluded.
