After approval of the schedule the first test launch of new heavy carrier rocket Angara-5 from Plesetsk cosmodrome is planned for late November 2014, – Khrunichev Center director Alexandr Seliverstov reported.

“Following the results of several meetings of all departments interested in the matter such as the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Roscosmos and etc. new tough but practicable first launch preparation schedule was worked out. The launch will take place from Plesetsk cosmodrome, late November 2014”, – Seliverstov said.

According to him a weekly report on Angara launch program is made personally to the Minister of Defense.

“Both deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and new Minister of Defense support us and pay us a great attention. The schedule is tough but quite practicable”, – he concluded.
