On February 07 at 00.42 (Moscow time) "Soyuz-2.1b" rocketr with OneWeb telecommunication satellites was successfully launched from Baikonur.

According to ISS flight program Soyuz MS-13 crew comprising commander Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov, Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano and NASA female astronaut Christina Koch successfully landed in Kazakhstan.

The work of the 61st long expedition is completing at the International Space Station (ISS) . The crew of the "Soyuz MS-13" spacecraft - Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov, ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano and NASA astronaut Christina Koch - are preparing to return to Earth in accordance with the flight plan.

In accordance with the decision of the State Commission this morning, February 3, 2020, the "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle with the "Fregat-M" upper stage and OneWeb British communications satellites was rolled out from the Assembly and Testing building and installed at the launch pad № 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

At the Vostochny cosmodrome specialists from the Vostochny Space Center together with the Progress RSC (parts of Roscosmos State Corporation) completed the cycle of mechanical assembly of the “package” (stages 1 and 2) of another "Soyuz 2.1b" rocket in accordance with the schedule.

The Roscosmos cosmonauts Nikolay Tikhonov and Andrey Babkin successfully passed the test according to the program of scientific and applied research and experiments on simulators of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS).

At the "Vostochny" cosmodrome the joint team of specialists from the Vostochny Space Center and the "Progress" RSC (parts of Roscosmos State Corporation) in accordance with a schedule completed the package assembly cycle (1 and 2 stages) of the "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle.

On January 15, 2020, the Russian members of the ISS-63 main crew Nikolay Tikhonov and Andrey Babkin passed the test training on docking and "Orlan-ISS" spacesuit systems on the "Exit-2" simulator, the uniqueness of which is that it imitates the work of "Orlan-ISS" suits in the conditions of simulated weightlessness.

The Roscosmos State Corporation considers the launch of the production of universal rocket modules of "Angara" launch vehicles at the Production Association "Polet" (a branch of the Khrunichev Space Center) as priority task of the corporation.

On January 11, 1960, the Cosmonaut Training Center was formed in the Green (nowadays world famous Star) City. In the late 1960s, the Center was named after Yuri Gagarin in memory of the first cosmonaut of the planet.
