The Roscosmos State Corporation considers the launch of the production of universal rocket modules of "Angara" launch vehicles at the Production Association "Polet" (a branch of the Khrunichev Space Center) as priority task of the corporation.

On January 11, 1960, the Cosmonaut Training Center was formed in the Green (nowadays world famous Star) City. In the late 1960s, the Center was named after Yuri Gagarin in memory of the first cosmonaut of the planet.

Specialists of the Vostochny Space Center together with the RSC "Progress"(parts of the Roscosmos State Corporation) on January 10, 2020, began preparing the components of "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicles.

Launched on December 27, 2019 at 02:11 (Moscow time) from the Plesetsk First State Testing Cosmodrome, the "Rokot" light carrier rocket successfully put the "Gonets-M" communication satellite into orbit.

From launch pad № 81 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome on December 24, 2019 at 15:03:02 (Moscow time), the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the "DM-03" upper stage and "Electro-L" №3 Russian hydrometeorological satellite was launched.

Preparations are in process at the Baikonur Cosmodrome for launching the "Proton-M" launch vehicle with the DM-03 upper stage and "Electro-L" №3 Russian meteorological satellite.

Today, on December 18, 2019, at 11:54 (Moscow time) from the launch pad of the Guiana Space Center, the "Soyuz-ST-A" launch vehicle with the "Fregat-M" upper stage and the COSMO-SG and CHEOPS European satellites and with three commercial satellites was successfully launched.

In the Guiana Space Center the "Soyuz-ST-A" launch vehicle with the "Fregat-M" upper stage and commercial spacecrafts on board was rolled out to the launch pad.

Members of the ISS-63 main crew - Roscosmos cosmonauts Nikolay Tikhonov and Andrey Babkin performed a training on the "Exit-2" simulator, using a new cyclogram.
