On October 21, 2014, at 19.09, Moscow time, Russian space industry launching crews successfully launched Proton-M booster with Briz-M upper stage and Express-AM6 telecommunication space device from #81 launchpad of Baikonur spaceport. On October 22, 2014, at 04.31, Moscow time, Express-AM6 space device reached the target orbit and separated from the upper stage.

On October 13 Khrunichev and Yuzhny Space Centre started assembling started general assembling of the rocket docking the booster with the space head. Today upon completion of electrical testing the rocket will be transported to the fuel servicing area where Briz-M upper stage low-pressure tanks will be filled with propellant components.

On Saturday Progress M-27 cargo vehicle was delivered to Baikonur spaceport. Today RSC Energia and Yuzhny Space Centre specialists unloaded the vehicle and installed it onto the service pad in the integration building of 24 launchpad of the spaceport. The specialists will examine the vehicle and conduct preservation works.
