Today, on June 28, 2019, specialists of Roscosmos enterprises, using a transborder gallery, transported the space head part, assembled the day before, to the Assembly and Testing facility of the launch vehicle. In the Assembly hall, the joint team of specialists in accordance with the complex schedule performed the assembly of the head part with the third stage of the carrier. Launch is scheduled for July 5, 2019.

On June 27, 2019, in the GCTC the complex examination and training sessions of the main and backup crews of the 60/61long expedition to the ISS were completed. On June 28 at the GCTC will be a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission, which will evaluate the results of complex examinations and will decide on the further steps of the crew preparation for space flight. Crews departure to Baikonur is scheduled for July 4th.

The work of the 59th long expedition is being completed at the International Space Station (ISS). The crew members of the "Soyuz MS-11" spacecraft - Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, CSA astronaut David Saint-Jacques and NASA astronaut Anne McClain are preparing to return to Earth. The closing of the access hatches between the "Soyuz MS-11" and the ISS is scheduled at 23:10 (Moscow time) on June 24, undocking - at 02:25 (Moscow time) on June 25 and landing of the descent vehicle - at 05:49 (Moscow time) in 148 km south-east of Zhezkazgan (Kazakhstan).

The launch is scheduled for the beginning of July 2019, the "Soyuz-2.1b" rocket will launch the "Meteor-M" № 2-2 spacecraft into orbit.

After passing the theoretical examinations, the ISS-60/61 crews began practical tests on simulators. Today, the commanders of the main and backup crews of the "Soyuz MS-13" sapcecraft Alexander Skvortsov and Sergey Ryzhikov passed the examination exercises on the specialized "Teleoperator" simulator for testing the teleoperative control of the "Progress MS" cargo spaceship. The commanders of the main and backup crews of "Soyuz MS-13" spacecraft brilliantly passed the task, having received excellent marks on the exam. The Commission, chaired by Valery Korzun, Head of the 1st Department of the GCTC, Hero of the Russian Federation, Pilot-Cosmonaut of the Russian Federation, noted the clarity of reporting and determining the relative motion parameters of "Progress MS" spacecraft and the ISS, as well as confident and competent actions of operators.

The "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle will launch the "Meteor-M" № 2-2 spacecraft into orbit. This will be the fifth launch from the newest Russian cosmodrome.

The "Soyuz-2.1b" launch vehicle with the "Glonass-M" navigation satellite launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. After the launch, the "Soyuz-2.1b" was taken under control of the ground-based equipment of the Russian Space Forces. This is the first launch of the "Soyuz-2" from Plesetsk this year.
