Russian Space Exhibition postponed due to the lack of guarantees from the British part will open in London on September 18, – British Science Museum press-service reports.

“The Exhibition will show how Russia started space age with a series of breakthroughs”, – press-service representative Julia Murray said.

According to Museum Director Ian Blatchford it is the first time such exhibits will be exported from Russia.

The exhibition will last till March 13, 2016.

The Exhibition called “Cosmonauts” was to take part last year. Earlier it was reported that the rarest exhibits associated with Soviet space program that have never been exported before would be brought from Moscow. The exhibition is being held in cooperation with Moscow Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics and Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos).

As Russian President special representative on international cultural cooperation stated “this exhibition will play a great part helping to create our country a positive image in British society it really deserves.
