The extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of public company RSC Energia convened by the decision of the Board of Directors was held in the format of absent voting. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of RSC Energia, the General Director of State Corporation Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.

The shareholders have confirmed the appointment of Igor Ozar to the position of the general director of public company RSC Energia.

Igor Ozar was born in Moscow in 1961. In 1984 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Management named after S. Ordzhonikidze, specializing in the organization of production management in the chemical industry. Until the beginning of 2020, he held the post of Director General of Sukhoi PJSC, where he worked since 1999.

Under the leadership of Ozar, Su-35 and Su-57 combat aircraft were created, large-scale contracts for the supply of front-line bombers and fighters for the Russian Aerospace Forces were completed, and the first stage of testing the fifth generation fighter was completed.
