On May 29, specialists from the Research and Test Complex of NPO “Energomash” tested the RD-180 liquid rocket engine.

According to the head of the Complex, Andrei Ushkov, the test program was completed in full, the engine was working properly, no any claims.

The RD-180 liquid-propellant rocket engine is designed for installation on the Atlas-5 launch vehicle.
