At the Vostochny cosmodrome specialists from the Vostochny Space Center together with the Progress RSC (parts of Roscosmos State Corporation) completed the cycle of mechanical assembly of the “package” (stages 1 and 2) of another “Soyuz 2.1b” rocket in accordance with the schedule.

“The “package” has been put into storage mode before the start of the launch campaign.

This is the second “package” of the “Soyuz-2.1b” launch vehicle, assembled at Vostochny spaceport this year.

The first was ready on January 15 and is now also in storage mode in the Assembly and Testing building of the launch vehicles.

In the near future works on opening containers with blocks of the third “Soyuz-2.1b” launch vehicle and transportation of its components to the Assembly and Testing building of the launch vehicles for assembly in the “package” will be performed by a joint team of representatives of the rocket and space industry enterprises .
